This TalentCloud requires expertise in obtaining, processing, cleaning, and analyzing structured and unstructured data with spatial components to build models that generate actionable insights based on analytics.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Python.
- 3+ years of experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- 2+ years of experience in dealing with GPS, location sensors, social media, mobile devices, and satellite imagery as data
- Expert in segmented into the surface analysis, network analysis, and geovisualization
- Extensive experience with ArcGIS
- Extensive experience with Arcpy, geopandas, shapely, folium, GDAL/OGR, RSGISLib, PyProj, PySAL, scikit-learn, statsmodels, and SciPy
- Expert in supervised (classification, regression) and unsupervised machine learning (anomaly detection, cluster analysis)
- Proficient in building/tuning/testing models using machine learning and deep learning algorithms including tree-based methods, Bayesian models, support vector machines, feed-forward networks, recurrent neural networks, and convolutional neural networks
- Expert in feature engineering and dimensionality reduction methods
- Hands-on experience writing data processing and data pipeline for structured and unstructured data model development
- Proficient in SQL
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Familiarity with version control, especially Git/GitHub
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of experience with GIS and spatial analytics
- Graduate degree in GIS or a related field
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Experience with NoSQL databases
