This TalentCloud seeks Data Scientists who can be responsible for implementing a data architecture that facilitates the effective collection of relevant data. Other responsibilities and experiences include:
- Experts should be able to implement data processing across devices, gateways, data gathering platforms, databases, analytics, ML, and AI
- Ensuring that data is presented to different user categories based on need and relevance
- Responsible for data architecture & data model
- Creating and harvesting value from IoT data
- Data processing SW and tool selection
- Implement analytics, Machine Learning, and AI
- Manage the data science aspect of the project
Required Skills
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- Understand the 4 core IoT components: devices, connectivity, IoT platforms, and applications
- Comprehend IoT solution requirements and be able to translate these into data collection needs and opportunities
- Understand use cases and user profiles translating these into data needs and wishes
- Understand how data is collected and processed and stored throughout an IoT implementation
- Work with architects and developers to implement data collection systems, databases, data analytics, and applications
- Augment internal IoT data with relevant external data sourced through APIs
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize significant amounts of information
- Adept at queries, report writing, and innovative ways of presenting and visualizing information
- Able to work with large amounts of data when creating facts, figures, and general number crunching
- Agile project experience + ability to create Epics and manage the creation of associated stories
- Big data Certification from a recognized company or institution
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years experience as a data analyst
- Experience with statistical analytics tools and advanced data tools like cluster analysis, MDS, conjoint analysis
- Experience with time-series analytics tools
- Experience with collecting data from hardware devices and performing analysis on ongoing results
- Experience with very large tools sets
- Experience with distributed data processing and filtering
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Work with customers to identify their data needs and implement them into the data solution
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- MS or higher degree in data science
