IoT Solution Integrators in this TalentCloud should be able to make different parts of the IoT solution (devices, connectivity, data gathering platform, applications) and understand how they work interoperate. Other expectations are:
- Experts are expected to lead the integration activities of all parts creating end-to-end integration testing
- This TalentCloud seeks experts who can create Agile integration stories and work with the agile team to implement them in sprints and releases
- Integration of IoT solution parts, data flows, applications, and operations
Required Skills
- Experience in integrating hardware and web/mobile solutions using different connectivity technologies
- Understand the 4 core IoT components: devices, connectivity, IoT platforms, and applications
- Comprehend IoT solution requirements and be able to translate these into technology/implementation selection
- Understand use cases and user profiles for them
- Understand connectivity platforms and how to implement them and integrate with them
- Knowing how to bring up an IoT solution starting with Tracer Bullet and evolving it to a full solution
- Agile project experience and an ability to create Epics and manage the creation of associated stories
- Experience in working with product management
- Experience in creating an integration lab
- Experience managing testing efforts (manual) and implement automation
- Work with product management and customer on acceptance testing criteria
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years experience in integrating hardware connected to mobile/web applications
- Direct experience with IoT hardware and solutions
- Understanding some IoT connectivity and communication protocols (BLE, WiFi, LAN, Cellular, LTEm)
- Web or mobile application projects completed
- Experience in implementing QA efforts and meeting QA goals
- Experience in using automated test tools
- Knowledge of using an IoT cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, or equivalent)
- BS in CS, EE, or Computer engineering degree
